Lexington is the leading North American manufacturer of molded rubber components for automotive electrical systems.

Lexington works closely with manufacturers of wire harnesses and electrical connectors to design rubber components that protect electrical connections from the elements while minimizing the size and weight of the wire harness. Lexington currently makes over 500 different seals for wire-harness connectors including multi-hole grommets that protect as many as 121 wire connections.

Lexington also has extensive experience designing and manufacturing insulators for automotive ignition systems. We currently make over 300 different insulators. Our proprietary materials provide excellent performance characteristics, while reducing cost. In addition to utilizing automation on our molding presses, we take advantage of automation to insert springs and plastic components, to do dielectric testing, and to inspect parts.

We also manufacture a variety of other automotive components, including door grommets and through-wall grommets for wire harnesses, isolators, mounts, bushings, transmission seals, and diaphragms.
