Lexington has invested over $14 million in a state-of-the-art mold-making operation in North Canton, Ohio.
We specialize in making tight-tolerance molds using the most advanced machining equipment, EDMs, grinders, and lasers. We make flashless molds, cut-in-plate molds, and injection molds.
Lexington has spent over eight years developing a unique capability in the computer simulation of mold filling. Before building a prototype or production mold, we can analyze how the mold will fill and how the rubber will cure. This avoids costly and time-consuming “false starts” and ensures that components meet the customer's specifications.
The close ties between our mold-making operation and our production molding operations have enabled us to make numerous technological advances in both mold-making and molding.
